A small update on my Soro listening impressions. Arrived 4 days ago.
First AN-UK gear at home ever.
Since about 20 years, I owned probably around 50 different amplifiers / preamps / integrateds from very various manufacturers and various prices.
Linn, McIntosh, Audio Research, Shindo, Conrad Johnson, Ayre, Naim Audio, ElectroCompaniet, Manley Labs, Halgorythme, Accuphase… I just cannot count them anymore…
Until I discover Kondo and now AN, my favorites were from Shindo Labs and the MC225 McIntosh amp. I lived during 5 years with a Shindo Giscours preamp and Corton Charlemagne Q monoblocks. Magic but not trouble free. Probably too old parts inside and some failures over time got me tired… and probably not enough magic because I was still looking for other gear.
In this living room system, I had for some years the AN-J SPe Hemp Silver coils. Finally got back to a huge love in my Hifi history, the Rega RS10 speakers, which I own since the very start of their distribution. Bought them in 2012 or 2013 and I am still under their charm.
I had in this system very various gear over the years. An Ayre pre / Power combo, my beloved Conrad Johnson GAT preamp, or the Mark Levinson 380S preamp with various amps, Halgorythme 300B WE monoblocks, McIntosh MC225, Accuphase A65, CCQs, Air Tight ATM1s… integrateds : a Leben CS300XS, Ayre AX7e, Mac1500 receiver…
TT were the Rega P9, Thorens TD124, Pink Triangle Anniversary SME V Koetsu Rosewood…
Until this Soro / TT2 Deluxe - PSU / Audiomods 103 ESco combo.
I am extremely impressed by the harmony of this set up.
Many gear I used there were more transparent, resolved, dynamic than that Soro / TT2 combo.
But no one reached this level of musical pleasure.
Just wanting to listen and listen to more records. Completely addictive.
I cannot believe the level of musicality achieved here. And the Rega RS10 speakers are pretty difficult to drive.
I have a Kondo Overture in my main system which I did not try on the RS10, because I was affraid to order an other one if I did. 
The Soro of course is not at the level of the Overture or more « impressive » gear, but when you listen to it, you absolutely have zero feeling that anything would be missing from the signal. You have the complete feeling that you are getting just everything you should from the musical experience. Of course it is not the case. BUT… you forget this completely while listening. You really feel that you get EVERYTHING you should. Game over.
This is the goal in Hifi for me.
When you feel « fulfilled » and audiophiles know that this feeling is normally very rare because our « illness » always makes us think about « improving » something…!
then you just know that you reached the goal. You just have to enjoy the music with a free mind going from there and you can really focus only on the musical event happening in front of you.
This is what the Overture produced on me a few months ago.
And this is what just did the Soro.
Kondo and Audio Note are magic.

Было кучу вариантов разных, но ешек не было и большая часть жира от АН пропущена, похоже цель была найти пару из усиления к реговской акустике. Человек счастлив, что еще надо

Коллеги, кто нибудь может рассказать про разницу в звуке Audio Note Conqueror LG и старым Audio Note Conqueror (с двумя входными лампами)?
Почему то у нас осталась нераскрытой тема МС-трансов Аудио Нот.
Совсем не раскрыта. А как они? По сравнению с другими трансами, FR, ORTOFON и прочими? Кто сравнивал? Кто имеет? Соб-но как оно по звуку - транс от аудио нот?
