Надо понимать, у передачи шины на расстояние может быть своя “цена”. Конструируя такую линию передачи, “попадаем” на влияние кабеля и всяческих традиционно встающих в рост EMI/RFI.
Даже просто две балансные линии несложного стандарта Firewire 400 - кабели “слышно” при смене, а что получится тут…
А еще питание всех этих чудесных буферов… выполненное сквозь “прекрасные” LDO…

@Rustam, чтобы заиграло подключить вообще не сложно. Там 3 перемычки разорвать и попадаем право в чип TDA1541. Играет очень прилично. На много лучше SPDIF и это слышно. Я пробовал все три I2S источника что у меня есть, Allo Kali, PI2AES и 502. Все играют хорошо, пока чемпиона не определил. Но дело не в этом. С Аббас цап, как писали варианта два. Или аккуратно все заводить внутрь, и антену если надо снаружи. При этом без буферов все хорошо работает на прямую. Второй вариант ставить HDMI конвертор для I2S. PI2AES сразу заработает с ним. Kali и 502 надо i2s в HDMI добавлять. Еще плюс этой HDMI платы, он позволит выбирать между I2S и родным SPDIF. Я еще не решил как буду делать, мне важнее звук. Хочу хорошо послушать на сколько буфер через HDMI влияет.

Да, поэтому план послушать на сколько что влияет. Если без буферов гораздо лучше, значит все будет в корпусе рядом, и I2S на прямую.

Ну изначально i2S и создан для передачи данных в пределах одного устройства/корпуса
Это понятно… )
Немного упрощает дело (в теории) отсутствие необходимости точной красивой передачи полного MCLK, поскольку NOS.

Еще потеря универсальности. SPDIF дает больше возможности для подключения разных источников и экспериментов.
Ничто не мешает добавить spdif приемник, а сигналы коммутировать мультиплексором

У меня в другом ЦАПе поставлена плата Сингхер F1. На неё сделано отдельное двойное питание, отключена оптика, плата расположена максимально близко ко входу i2s на плате ЦАПа. Запаяно экранированным кабелем. Длина около 5 см… В итоге получаем и USB вход и реально суперский Coax…
Well, I’ve a Abbas DAC 2.2SE coming in the mail now as well as one of his RIAA Tube Preamps. I’m very much looking forward to trying it as I expect it will be the last DAC I ever need.
I’ve also bought a pair of the earlier mentioned TDA1541A N2 chips which should be a worthy upgrade for the cost. I’ll compare with my Holland made TDA1541A S1 and see which I prefer.
I’ve also ordered one of the DAC Z which should be a nice upgrade in my second sound system. I figure that system doesn’t see that much use though I expect it will better what is currently used there. The TDA1543 is a nice sounding chip and if the bass and treble is a bit better defined than in other DAC’s I’ve heard with the 1543 it should sound very nice indeed.

Certainly, I’m using a Linear Tube Audio MicroZOTL 3 as a preamp driving a 6WPC Wavebourn Edelweiss-3 CV1127 and 100WPC Behringer KM750 power amps into DIY speakers.
The speakers are shallow open back cabinets with the Wavebourn driving a Lii Audio Fast-10S full range, forward firing Aurum Cantus G3Si ribbons and up firing Skar Audio VX1ST bullet tweeters. The tweeters are limited by a 1uf Duelund RS-Cu + 0.47uf Arizona Blue Cactus caps in parallel, the tweeters wired in series with each other though in parallel with the fullrange driver. The KM750 drives the Lii Audio W-15 woofers, run full range. Adds a very nice presence to the overall sound and deeper bass.
My turntable is a S.A.M. Aldebaran (from Croatia) with 2x Fidelity Research tonearms: FR-14 with Audio Technica ART9 and a FR-64S with Fidelity Research FR-7, each run into a Hashimoto HM-7 SUT.
I use Litz silver interconnects from tonearm to phono stage and Litz copper to the preamp and from preamp to power amps. With the DAC I’m currently running Neotech UPOCC copper to the preamp. Speakers have Duelund DCA16GA from the Wavebourn to speakers and with internal wiring. Van Damme 6mm LC-OFC from the Behringer amp to each woofer…
I expect I’ll end up rolling interconnects when my Abbas components arrive to achieve best balance in my system. I’ve a few different ones spare.
I believe in trying for the utmost in transparency from preamp to the speakers. This can sound a bit thin with most source components though not when a TDA1541A based DAC is up front so I expect the Abbas DAC 2.2SE and RIAA Tube preamp will sound beautiful in this system.
My second system is nothing special. It’s where I listen when in trouble with my wife. I just use a little Chinese John Lindsay Hood 1969 amp and crossover rebuilt Oatlon W2-1000F speakers (Klipsch KG5.5 copies). A simple and enjoyable sounding system. Gets me maybe 80% of what my main system can do.

Oh, on the digital front I’ve a silver MS Audio USB cable, Mutec MC-3 + USB interface / reclocker / galvanic isolation and Valab silver SPDIF cable. I forgot to include that.
Most playback will be via JRiver on a Lenovo TinyPC. I love spinning a few LP’s though since we had a baby I’ve no time to use the turntable so just my playlist on random for now.
Interesting system. Any plans for tube rolling in 2.2SE? I’ve had good results with 5687 Tung Sol from late 50s/early 60s and Raytheon with black plates.
That is a luxury a lot of people do not have.

I may tube roll eventually though initially I’ll just enjoy it as is for a month or two. I’ll try a few different TDA1541A chips first before tube rolling.
I’ve heard the Raytheon tubes work well in this? I’ve always enjoyed the sound of Raytheon Black Plate tubes. Rich and energetic, liquid sounding. I may try those first. Then again I’ve never tried vintage Tung Sol so I guess I’ll see.
