P2s лучший из них. Но и 25 моГет многое как транспорт) Модель с X отличется от 25-го только возможностью работы как внешнего ЦАП.
25-й в виде двух блоков это какой Р?
Р2 (P2s) и 25 это разные аппараты, если не смотреть только на головку и марку микросхемы ЦАП.

The mechanism used in the TEAC P-2S CD drive unit is an improvement of the mechanism used in the P-2. What makes it different is that, in this mechanism, the compact disc rotates while being clamped against a turntable which has the same diameter as the disc.
As with a turntable for playing analogue discs, by accurately holding the disc by its entire surface areas, surface vibrations have been minimized, making it possible to read signals with higher precision.
At the same time, unnecessary vibrations in the mechanism have been largely eliminated by reducing the servo current which is fed to the actuator of the pick-up which reads information from the micron-order row of pits, to a great extent.
Also, by providing this turntable with a gentle taper, any warping or distortion of the disc can be corrected. With this mechanism, the disc drive motor is secured to a diecast aluminium arm, which is firmly supported by a 1 kg diecast zinc mechanism base which is fabricated with high precision.
Another new feature of the P-2S is that the turntable has dual-layer construction using diecast aluminium and brass. By reducing the resonance frequency and increasing the vibration damping factor, undesirable vibrations of the mechanism have been reduced.
To drive this heavyweight turntable, the motor uses samarium-cobalt magnets in place of the previous ferrite magnets, thereby achieving high torque and high-precision servo operation. By redesigning the tray mechanism for even less noise and greater stability, the degree of perfection attained with the P-2 has been further improved.

А вообще замена транспорта в аппарате, например cdm 12.1 на cd pro 2
Это нормальная практика, такое возможно без каких либо серьезных переделок начинки аппарат?

CDM12.X на CDPro-2 заменить не получится если не переписать код для управляющего микроконтроллера. Проще новый проигрыватель CD на CDPro-2 сделать.
